Content You Submit

We ask that you do not send confidential or proprietary information or trade secrets through the Outdoor Equipped website (“Site”), unless that information is necessary to place an order. With the exception of payment and contact information, anything you submit or post to the Site, including without limitation ideas, know-how, techniques, questions, reviews, comments, and suggestions (collectively, "Submissions") will be treated as nonconfidential and nonproprietary, and we shall have the royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, and transferable right to use, copy, distribute, display, publish, perform, sell, lease, transmit, adapt, create derivative works from such Submissions by any means and in any form, and to translate, modify, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or decompile such Submissions. All Submissions shall automatically become our sole and exclusive property and shall not be returned to you.

In addition to the rights applicable to any Submission, when you post comments or reviews to the Site, you also grant us the right to use the name that you submit with any review, comment or other content, if any, in connection with that review, comment or other content. You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all rights to the reviews, comments, and other content that you post on this Site and that use of your reviews, comments, or other content by us will not infringe upon or violate the rights of any third party. You shall not use a false email address, pretend to be someone other than yourself, or otherwise mislead us or third parties as to the origin of any Submissions or content. We may, but shall not be obligated to, remove or delete Submissions upon request.

The following elements of the Site are the property of Outdoor Equipped or our suppliers and are protected by United States and international copyright laws:

All text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and data compilations.
All software.

You have permission to electronically copy and print hard copies of pages from the Site solely for personal, non-commercial purposes related to placing an order or shopping. Unless we give you written permission in advance, any other reproduction of the Site, its content, and its information are strictly prohibited.

Copyright Complaints

Outdoor Equipped respects the intellectual property of others. If you believe your work has been infringed upon, please contact our customer relations department.

Your Account

If you use the Site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Outdoor Equipped reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at its sole discretion.

Checkout and Credit Card Data

Outdoor Equipped uses Shopify’s standard checkout system and Authorize.net as its payment gateway. We do not and cannot store your credit card data or access it ourselves. Thus, your credit card data must be entered upon checkout for every purchase.

By entering your credit card information on a sale checkout, you authorize Outdoor Equipped to charge your credit card for the sale amount stated, within 24 hours but typically immediately upon checkout, in order to fulfill your sale. It is your responsibility to make sure that funds are available, that the billing and delivery addresses you provided are correct, and that you own the card you are using (or are otherwise authorized by the cardholder to make the purchase).
